Solid Wood
Our selection of solid wood profiles are available in different woods, some in one type of wood, some in multiple woods. The most common woods we use are Oak and Beech however, we can source other woods such as pine, o’beche, ash and maple (subject to availability). We generally prefer to use these mouldings as they are more sturdy and can be sanded after being cut and joined, resulting in a better, smoother finish to accompany your work. Different woods can result in different finishes thus using stains, paints and hand finishes we can engineer the perfect finish to showcase your art. If you are looking to create your own profile specifics this is also possible, it will however require a minimum order of 300 meters of wood.
Aluminium
Aluminium profiles are another great way for presenting your valued pieces, they come in many different colours as well as glossy and matt finished. These profiles are also a great way to frame posters, certificates and family photographs.
Pre-Finished
We understand that everyone has a budget, so for a slightly cheaper option for your framing job we offer a range of pre finished mouldings. Don’t worry though, they look great and supply protection to your artwork and come in many different shapes and colours. The only difference is that they are generally made out of softer woods and can have “plastic” finish meaning they are less durable and can be damaged easier however, if they are taken home and hung straight away then this really isn’t a problem.d why it’s unique.
